Article: Why Does the Elephant Charm Represent Strength?

Why Does the Elephant Charm Represent Strength?

Why Does the Elephant Charm Represent Strength?

The elephant is probably my favorite animal.

Whenever I go to the zoo, I probably spend the longest time wherever the elephants are. I just love watching these big, strong, yet incredibly gentle animals.

Obviously, their size alone could represent strength. They’re huge and powerful. But when I look at an elephant, that’s not really the kind of strength that stands out to me.

It feels more like quiet strength.

They don’t seem aggressive. They seem calm, steady, and strong.

There’s also something about elephants that makes them seem old and resilient to me, like they’ve been through a lot and can keep going. I love that quality about them.

And even with all that size and power, they can still show so much gentleness, especially toward their young.

I think that’s what I love most about the kind of strength the elephant represents.

Strong, resilient, and powerful, yet still gentle and caring.

Because being strong doesn’t have to mean being aggressive or loud. There can be strength in being calm. There can be strength in being steady. And being gentle doesn’t take away from your strength.

That’s the strength vibe I get from the elephant.

It’s one of the reasons the elephant is not only one of my favorite animals, but also one of my favorite charms to use at Harper & Hyra.

I love what it symbolizes to me: strength, wisdom, and good luck.

And every time I see an elephant, those are the things it reminds me of.

Decide who you are. Wear the reminder.
